Catalog Executive

JOB PURPOSE/OVERVIEW/SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Catalog Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and maintaining our product catalogs, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting various operational activities. This role is perfect for individuals who are proactive, have strong analytical skills, and are eager to learn.

KEY DELIVERABLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update product catalogs across various platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the catalogs.
• Assist in data entry, data management, and database maintenance.
• Perform quality checks on the catalog data to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Utilise advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other tools to analyse and report on catalog data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and process product information.
• Support the team in ad-hoc tasks and projects related to catalog management.

REQUISITE CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Advanced Excel: Proficiency in using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other advanced data manipulation tools.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or content management systems.
• Basic knowledge of data management principles.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not mandatory.
