Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator – Video Surveillance to manage, monitor, and maintain CCTV and video surveillance systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance while coordinating with IT, security, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Surveillance Management:

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and VMS platforms

Monitor live feeds and recorded footage to ensure system uptime

Perform regular system health checks, updates, and backups

System & Network Administration:

Manage servers, storage, and network connectivity for surveillance systems

Configure IP addressing, VLANs, ports, and bandwidth optimization

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

Security & Compliance:

Implement access controls, user permissions, and password policies

Ensure data retention, backup policies, and regulatory compliance

Maintain incident logs and system documentation

Maintenance & Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with vendors for AMC, repairs, and upgrades

Maintain inventory of cameras, cables, and related equipment

Plan system expansion and technology upgrades

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field

Hands-on experience with CCTV/IP surveillance systems

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, PoE)

Experience with NVR/DVR, VMS software, and storage systems

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in CCTV, networking, or system administration

Experience with access control systems and alarms

Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices

Salary: 15,000-18,000
