Client: Israel-based Engineering Firm

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable)

Salary: INR 1,00,000 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Draftsperson to support the design and documentation of complex bridge projects for a leading Israeli engineering company. This role focuses on the structural detailing of prestressed concrete and steel bridges. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering concepts and construction-ready documentation, working in a dynamic, offsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Detailing: Create high-quality structural drawings for prestressed concrete and steel bridge projects.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive construction documentation sets, including reinforcement details, steel fabrication drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Standard Compliance: Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, international engineering standards, and client requirements.
• Collaboration: Coordinate virtually with the engineering team in Israel to incorporate design changes and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Quality Control: Review drawings for accuracy, layering standards, and constructability before final submission.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a local equivalent.
• Core Software: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
• Preferred Software: Experience with Revit (BIM) and/or Tekla Structures is highly desirable.
• Experience: * Minimum 1 year of professional drafting experience.
• Specific expertise (up to 3 years) in Prestressed Concrete Bridges and Steel Bridges.
• Strong familiarity with field requirements and bridge design philosophies.

• Communication: Fluent in English to navigate technical rounds and daily reporting.
• Independence: Proven ability to manage time effectively without direct physical supervision.

1. Round 1: HR Screening (Background and cultural fit).
2. Round 2: Technical Assessment I (AutoCAD proficiency and bridge detailing knowledge).
3. Round 3: Technical Assessment II (In-depth discussion on prestressed concrete/steel bridge documentation).
