Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting Calls: Making outbound cold calls to potential clients and handling inbound calls from prospective customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Possessing in-depth knowledge of the product or service to effectively explain features and benefits and how they solve customer problems.
  • Lead Management: Identifying, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Negotiation and Objection Handling: Leading pricing and contract discussions, addressing customer concerns, and overcoming objections to secure a sale.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and accurately documenting all interactions and sales activities in a CRM system.
  • Strategy and Reporting: Collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, providing feedback on market trends, and preparing regular sales reports. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and a professional phone manner are crucial for building rapport and conveying information clearly.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong abilities to influence buying decisions and negotiate terms that are mutually beneficial for the customer and the company.
  • Resilience: The ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a positive, motivated attitude in a results-driven environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying customer needs and adapting sales tactics to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant computer programs/telephone systems.
  • Time Management: The ability to multitask, prioritize a busy workload, and manage time effectively to follow up on leads and meet targets.
