Job Description
CLUB MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club.
This includes organizing events, managing schedules, maintaining facilities, supervising
staff, and ensuring high levels of member satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Coordination: Plan and execute social events, tournaments, and special
club activities.
2. Member Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships through
responsive communication and high-quality service.
3. Community Engagement: Encourage member participation in activities and
cultivate a positive club culture.
4. Match Scheduling: Oversee court and match scheduling to maximize club
utilization.
5. Activity Development: Collaborate with MP to design and implement new
programs for members.
6. Program Coordination: Organize regular offerings such as leagues, clinics, and
other initiatives.
7. Facility Maintenance Oversight: Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-
maintained by coordinating with the maintenance team.
8. Staff Supervision: Lead the coaching and grounds team to ensure service
standards are met.
9. Event Logistics: Ensure seamless event setup, including venue, equipment,
food, and transport needs.
10. Budget Oversight: Work with the General Manager to plan events within
allocated budgets.
11. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors for timely and cost-effective
services.
12. Post-Event Evaluation: Gather participant and staff feedback to assess and
improve future events.
13. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate
innovations into club offerings.
14. Community Outreach: Develop and execute outreach campaigns to attract new
members.
15. New Member Events: Host onboarding activities to integrate new members into
the club.
16. Retention Strategies: Work with management to implement loyalty programs
and special offers.
17. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing and membership
teams for cohesive service delivery.
18. Local Partnerships: Establish community relationships that enhance the club’s
visibility and value.
19. Progress Reporting: Monitor outreach goals and report progress to General
Manager.
20. Inter-Club Collaboration: Collaborate with other Club Managers to drive
business growth and revenue.
