Role Overview- We are looking for a focused and dedicated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our CNC machines to produce high-precision medical device components. Whether you are an experienced operator or a fresher with a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities-
- Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines (Milling/Turning/VMC) to produce parts according to strict specifications.
- Loading & Unloading: Securely load raw materials into the machine and unload finished parts, ensuring fixtures are correctly set.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor the machine during operation to ensure it is running smoothly; listen for unusual sounds or vibrations and report alarms immediately.
- Quality Inspection: Perform basic quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments (Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges) to ensure they meet tolerance levels.
- Maintenance: Perform daily machine maintenance, such as cleaning the workspace, removing chips, and checking coolant/oil levels.
- Documentation: Maintain daily production logs and report any machine downtime or production issues to the supervisor.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to safety guidelines, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean shop floor.
Requirements-
- Education & Experience:
- Qualification: ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience:
- Freshers: Welcome to apply. Must have a strong theoretical understanding of machining processes.
- Experienced: 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines is a plus.
Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of G-code and M-code (ability to read the display) is preferred.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and engineering sketches.
- Measurement: Familiarity with using measuring tools like Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
- Attitude: High attention to detail, especially regarding the precision required for medical devices.
- Schedule: Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts.
