Job Description
- Programming: Write and optimize CNC programs using languages like G-code to create complex parts on 3 and 5-axis machines.
- Setup: Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operation: Operate and monitor the machines during the production run, making adjustments as needed.
- Quality Control: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments to verify that all parts meet quality standards and blueprints.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine malfunctions to ensure consistent and precise operation.
- Documentation: Maintain production logs and document setup and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes and solve problems.
