Job Role: Commis 2 (Culinary)

Location: Spark by Hilton,Marathahalli

Reporting to: Sous Chef / CDP

The Goal: As a Commis 2, you will be a key player in the "heart of the house." You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean station, and ensuring our guests start their day with a perfect meal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Section Support: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes for the buffet and à la carte menu, specifically focusing on consistency and Hilton standards.
• Mise-en-Place: Ensure all prep work is completed before service hours to keep operations running smoothly.
• Food Safety: Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food storage standards (HACCP/FSSAI).
• Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage through smart prep and portion control.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (Hot/Cold/Continental sections).
• Education: A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts
• Skills: Solid knife skills, knowledge of basic cooking techniques, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attitude: A team-first mindset and a willingness to learn the specific standards of the first Spark by Hilton in Asia.
