Counter Sales Executive

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders at counter and phone.
• Manage POS / billing (cash, cards, UPI).
• Respond to customer chats/messages and basic social media inquiries (template replies).
• Handle incoming calls: order taking, queries, cancellations, delivery coordination.
• Reconcile daily cash and card receipts; create a daily sales report.
• Maintain petty cash and record small expenses.
• Prepare end-of-day deposit and handover to manager/owner.
• Keep simple bookkeeping (sales vs returns, cash vs digital).
• Assist with simple inventory checks for high-turn items (tea, buns, poha).
• Maintain polite, professional front-of-house presence.

Required skills

• Traits1–3 years in F&B or retail cashier/customer-service role preferred.
• Comfortable with POS systems, basic Excel or Google Sheets.
• Clear spoken Kannada/Hindi/English (whatever your primary languages are).
• Friendly, patient, good with people and phone etiquette.
• Honest and reliable — cash handling experience.
• Basic numeracy; able to produce daily sales summary.
