Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Seller Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with third-party sellers across our online marketplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding, managing, and supporting sellers to maximize performance, drive sales, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:Seller Onboarding & Activation:

  • Guide new sellers through the onboarding process and ensure all requirements (KYC, product listings, documentation) are met.
  • Provide training and support to help sellers understand platform tools, policies, and best practices.
  • Account Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sellers.
  • Monitor seller performance metrics including sales volume, return rates, ratings, and fulfillment timelines.
  • Develop action plans for underperforming accounts.
  • Sales Growth & Strategy:

  • Work with sellers to optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, images, keywords, pricing).
  • Advise on promotions, discounts, and campaigns to boost visibility and sales.
  • Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and gaps in assortment.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data, marketplace trends, and customer feedback to drive insights.
  • Provide regular performance reports and business reviews to sellers and internal stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure sellers adhere to marketplace guidelines and quality standards.
  • Manage conflict resolution, escalations, and policy violations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Liaise with customer service, logistics, marketing, and tech teams to resolve seller issues and improve processes.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, seller support, or marketplace operations.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Meesho, or Shopify.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple seller accounts simultaneously.
  • Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Understanding of catalog management, online merchandising, and seller lifecycle.
  • Fluency in regional languages (if applicable) to support local sellers.
