Key ResponsibilitiesContact customers via phone, email, or in person to recover outstanding debtsExplain payment terms, due dates, and consequences of non-paymentNegotiate repayment plans or settlementsMaintain accurate records of all communications and transactionsFollow up on overdue accounts regularlyInvestigate and resolve disputes related to billing or paymentsEnsure all collection activities comply with legal regulations and company policiesCoordinate with legal teams for escalated cases when necessaryRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to handle difficult conversations professionallyGood understanding of financial and credit processesBasic computer skills (MS Excel, CRM software)Attention to detail and record-keeping abilityProblem-solving and decision-making skillsHigh level of integrity and confidentialityEducational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred)Experience0–2 years (entry-level) or relevant experience in collections, sales, or customer serviceExperience in banking/finance sector is an advantageWork EnvironmentOffice-based or fieldwork depending on roleMay involve travel for field collectionsTarget-driven environment.
