Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Consultant Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dental instruments, sterilization processes, and patient care. As a Consultant Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting with dental procedures, managing patient documentation, and ensuring the operatory is prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dental Instruments Knowledge:
• Proficient in identifying and handling various dental instruments.
• Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and arranged for use.
• Sterilization Process:
• Adhere to strict sterilization protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and record the sterilization process and equipment maintenance.
• Patient Documentation & Care:
• Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and updates.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist in Dental Procedures:
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their treatment.
• Hand instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.
• Operatory Arrangement:
• Prepare the operatory before each patient visit by setting up the necessary instruments and materials.
• Ensure the operatory is clean and organized at all times.
• Manage dental supplies and inventory to ensure availability for procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and dental procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in dental software and patient management systems is a plus.
