Dispatch Supervisor

. Dispatch & Logistics:

Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of CPVC pipes and fittings

• Verify order accuracy (size, quantity, pressure class, fittings type, etc.)
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch schedules
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents (invoice, delivery challan, e-way bill, etc.)

Quality & Handling:

Ensure proper handling to avoid scratches, cracks, or deformation of pipes

• Maintain proper bundling, labeling, and identification of products
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during storage and dispatch

Team Management:

Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and forklift operators

• Assign tasks and monitor productivity
• Train team on handling CPVC materials and safety practices

Address dispatch priorities and urgent customer requirements

• Resolve operational and inventory discrepancies

• Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations in pipes/plastics industry
• Understanding of CPVC pipes, fittings, and handling requirements
• Inventory management and stock control expertise
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar)
• Leadership and team handling skills
• Good planning and coordination ability

KPIs (Performance Metrics):

Inventory accuracy (≥98%)

• On-time dispatch performance
• Damage/loss percentage
• Warehouse productivity and turnaround time
• Compliance with safety and audit standards
