Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Drive school bus / van / car safely as per assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure safe pick-up and drop-off of students and staff
• Follow all traffic rules, speed limits, and school transport guidelines
• Ensure students are seated properly and follow safety rules during travel
• Coordinate with bus helper / attendant for student safety
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (brakes, lights, horn, fuel, tyres, first-aid box)
• Report mechanical issues immediately to the transport in-charge
• Maintain logbooks for trips, mileage, and fuel usage
• Be polite and cooperative with students, parents, teachers, and staff
• Ensure valid documents are always available (RC, insurance, PUC, permit)
