Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Data Handling & Preparation Receive input data, variable data files, artwork, and instructions from clients or internal teams.
- Validate data for completeness, format accuracy, and compatibility with publishing software.
- Clean, structure, and organize data for print/production workflows.
- Create and maintain records for incoming and outgoing data sets.
- 2. File Processing & Publishing Prepare print-ready files based on specifications (size, bleed, layout, alignment, fonts, colors, encoding etc.).
- Ensure seamless desk-to-publishing workflow for items such as smart cards, ID cards, documents, labels or printed materials.
- Verify variable data merging (photos, barcodes, QR codes, personalization fields).
- Maintain quality control across all published files.
- 3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with production teams, design teams, and QA for timely approvals.
- Communicate with clients/vendors for clarifications on data, formats, and corrections.
- Support the operations team in managing workflows and delivery timelines.
- 4. Quality Control & Documentation Conduct thorough proof-checking for errors in text, layout, formatting, and data mapping.
- Maintain documentation on file versions, process steps, and final outputs.
- Ensure compliance with client guidelines, security norms, and confidentiality protocols.
