Job Description
- PLC/SCADA Maintenance & Programming: Troubleshoot, modify, and maintain PLC programs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems to ensure proper automation of treatment processes.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs on electrical equipment, including MCC panels, transformers, and switchgear.
- Instrumentation Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair process sensors, level controllers, pressure transmitters, flow meters, and analytical instruments for water quality.
- Motor and Drive Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), soft starters, and motors (pumps, blowers, agitators).
- Electrical Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed maintenance logs, update electrical drawings, manage spare parts inventory.
- Project Support: Assist with commissioning new equipment, system modifications, and upgrading obsolete technology.
- Maintain and optimize systems such as RO (Reverse Osmosis), DM (Demineralized), Filter Presses, Softeners, and Dosing Pumps.
- Train operators and junior technicians on basic PLC operation and electrical safety.
