An Electrical Manager oversees electrical systems, projects, and teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations, handling everything from project planning (budget, schedule, resources) and installation to maintenance, repairs, and team leadership (hiring, training, performance) for electrical infrastructure and machinery, with a focus on code compliance and energy efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

·        Project Management: 

Plan, execute, and finalize electrical projects, manage timelines, budgets, resources (staff, contractors), and report progress to stakeholders. 

·        Team Leadership: 

Hire, train, schedule, and manage electricians and engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional growth. 

·        System Operations: 

Oversee installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical equipment, wiring, and systems (plant machinery, distribution). 

·        Safety & Compliance: 

Establish and enforce strict safety standards, ensure adherence to electrical codes, conduct risk assessments, and handle incident response. 

·        Maintenance: 

Develop preventive maintenance schedules, manage spare parts inventory, and coordinate shutdowns. 

·        Budget & Efficiency: 

Manage departmental budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement energy-efficient technologies. 

·        Collaboration: 

Liaise with other departments (mechanical, facility), clients, suppliers, and senior management.
