Electrical Technician

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Electric Vehicle Repair Electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems in electric vehicles. The candidate should have hands-on experience with EV powertrains, battery systems, motor controllers, and high-voltage safety procedures.

• Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults in electric vehicles (2W / 3W / 4W as applicable).
• Inspect, test, and service EV batteries, Battery Management Systems (BMS), motors, inverters, and controllers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on EV electrical systems as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and software to identify faults and rectify issues.
• Handle high-voltage systems safely, following standard EV safety protocols.
• Install, replace, and repair wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, and charging components.
• Test charging systems, onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, and auxiliary electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with mechanical technicians and service advisors for effective repairs.
• Follow workplace safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times.
• Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, controllers, and power electronics.
• Understanding of EV architecture and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and EV service equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of electrical safety standards and PPE usage.
