Job Overview:

Melange is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Appliances Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing and repairing small electrical appliances, particularly kettles, hair dryers, and various kitchen equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring all appliances meet safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and repair kettles, hair dryers, and other kitchen appliances.
• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of appliances.
• Replace faulty parts such as heating elements, thermostats, fuses, switches, motors, etc.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance work done.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the service department and provide technical feedback.
• Manage spare parts inventory and raise requests for replacements.
• Occasionally visit client locations for on-site repair (if required).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant trade.
• 1–3 years of proven experience in servicing electrical appliances.
• Strong knowledge of appliance circuitry, wiring, and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters, soldering equipment, etc.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
