Electronic Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer – Desktop & Networking

Experience: 5-7 Years

Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 / month

Location: On-site / Field Support

We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Service Engineer with strong expertise in desktop assembly, motherboard-level diagnostics, remote technical support, and Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting. The role involves both on-site and remote service support, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and connectivity issues while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibities

• Diagnose and repair desktop motherboards at component level (SMD & PTH).
• Read and understand PCB schematics, system diagrams, and board view files.
• Assemble, upgrade, and configure desktop systems.
• Troubleshoot boot, power, display, and performance issues.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Install and troubleshoot Wi-Fi routers, LAN, and basic networking issues.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and soldering equipment.
• Maintain service records, reports, and job documentation.
• Follow ESD, safety standards, and maintain a clean workspace.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong fundamentals of electronics engineering
• Proven expertise in desktop hardware and motherboard repair Desktop Assembly
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi and basic networking
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High level of discipline and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to manage queries from clients and resolve issues.
