Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer (IoT & R&D)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer with strong hands-on experience in IoT hardware, embedded firmware, networking, cloud integration, security, and power electronics.

The candidate will work end-to-end, owning the product lifecycle—from circuit design and firmware development to secure cloud connectivity and power-stage design.

Key Responsibilities

·      Hardware & Embedded Systems

·      Design, develop, and debug embedded systems using ESP32, Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and similar platforms

·      Interface and integrate sensors, actuators, relays, motors, displays, and industrial I/O

·      Perform schematic design, component selection, and PCB design review

·      Hands-on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters

Firmware / Software Development

·      Develop embedded firmware using C, C++, Python, or MicroPython

·      Implement bare-metal and RTOS-based systems (FreeRTOS / Zephyr preferred)

·      Develop and maintain device drivers for sensors, communication modules, and peripherals

·      Perform power optimization, memory management, and performance tuning

·      Networking & Communication Protocols

Implement and debug connectivity technologies:

·      Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT, Cellular (4G/5G)

·      Application-layer protocols:

·      MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/HTTPS

·      Low-level communication protocols:

·      I²C, SPI, UART

·      Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack and network debugging

·      Cloud & Backend Integration

Integrate devices with cloud platforms:

·      AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT

·      Implement REST APIs and WebSocket communication

·      Handle telemetry, data ingestion, storage, and basic analytics

·      Enable remote diagnostics, monitoring, and fleet management

Security & Reliability

·      Implement device authentication and encryption (TLS, certificates, key management)

·      Design and deploy secure OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware updates

·      Apply IoT security best practices:

·      Secure boot, flash encryption, secure key storage

·      Design for high reliability, fault tolerance, watchdogs, and recovery mechanisms
