About the Role

Hello Mentor is looking for an experienced and passionate Client Relationship Specialist – Engineering Counselling who will function as a Senior Mentor for CET and engineering counselling guidance. The role involves mentoring students and parents through various admission processes, helping them make informed academic decisions based on rank, interests, and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Mentorship

• Provide end-to-end guidance to students and parents

• Assist with rank analysis, college options, branch selection, and admission strategy

• Conduct 1:1 mentoring sessions

• Help students make informed decisions based on career goals and counselling data

Counselling Process Guidance

• Guide students through counselling processes like JoSAA, KCET, COMEDK, VITEEE, Manipal, BITSAT, and other private universities

• Support during choice filling, seat allotment, and admission decisions

Data Analysis & Strategy

• Analyse cut-offs, seat matrices, and previous trends

• Develop strategic counselling approaches

• Stay updated with admission rules and schedules

Client Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with students and parents

• Address queries and counselling-related concerns

• Ensure high satisfaction throughout the counselling cycle

Knowledge & Research

• Stay updated on engineering admissions and policies

• Maintain knowledge of engineering branches and career paths

Eligibility Criteria Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred)

• Relevant counselling/mentoring experience

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years in Engineering Counselling or admission guidance

• Strong understanding of engineering branches and career paths

• Excellent communication and counselling skills

• Ability to simplify complex processes

• Analytical mindset for rank and cut-off analysis
