Job Description
Sales & Business Developmen
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories or industry segments.
- Conduct field visits, presentations, and product demos at customer locations.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation → requirement analysis → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and end-users.
Technical Support & Solutions
Understand customer technical needs and recommend the right products or solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Provide after-sales technical support and coordinate with service teams.
Marketing Activities
- Participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows, exhibitions, and product seminars.
- Conduct competitor analysis and provide market insights to management.
- Support digital marketing efforts (lead management, content inputs, product promotions).
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
- Maintain records of visits, leads, and opportunities using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation depending on industry).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong field sales and customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital communication tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or BSc / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / related fields).
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in field sales, technical sales, industrial marketing, or B2B engineering solutions.
- Experience dealing with OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial clients, or channel partners (depending on sector).

- New customer acquisition.
- Revenue growth in assigned regions.
