Job Description
I am looking for one sharp finance person in India to help build and run a serious product at the intersection of compliance, accounting, personal finance visibility, and AI automation.
The product has two parts.
ComplianceNoMiss is the operating layer. It helps founders, families, and companies stay on top of statutory, financial, and document-related obligations. It is meant to reduce missed deadlines, remove scattered follow-ups, and create one clean system for compliance visibility.
FinancePortfolio is the deeper private layer. It is a local-first financial control room that brings together personal, family, and company financial data into one picture. The vision is simple: a founder should be able to see the complete money reality, not fragments. Bank flows, cards, obligations, imported statements, reconciliations, review items, and decision context should sit in one place instead of ten apps, twenty spreadsheets, and a hundred WhatsApp messages.
Together, this becomes a complete package:
a trustable financial operating system for real people running real lives and real businesses.
But there is a gap, and it is an important one.
The software and agents can automate collection, reminders, imports, classification support, document chase, summaries, anomaly flags, dashboards, and workflows. What they cannot do alone is create deep domain credibility. They cannot replace a serious finance mind who understands books, founder realities, tax consequences, compliance edge cases, accounting judgment, and what matters in the real world versus what only looks good in software.
That is why I want to hire one person with skin in the game.
This role is for a CA, or a strong MBA Finance, or a serious M.Com / Accounting / Finance operator who thinks like an owner. You do not need to be flashy. You do need to be commercially aware, hands-on, detail-sensitive, and willing to help shape both product and trust.
In the beginning, your role is to fill the gaps the product cannot fill by itself:
define what the dashboards should really mean,
decide what founders actually need to see,
improve accounting logic,
improve categorization and reconciliation quality,
guide how compliance and finance should connect,
identify what is missing for CA-grade confidence,
and help turn raw automation into a product people can genuinely rely on.
The agents will run much of the machine.
They will gather data, monitor workflows, prepare drafts, surface review queues, and automate repetitive operations.
Your job is not to compete with the agents.
Your job is to guide them, train the operating logic, set standards, validate outputs, close domain gaps, and give the product the professional credibility that only a real finance operator can provide.
Later, this role should grow into something bigger:
owning the finance intelligence layer of the company,
shaping product direction,
helping define customer trust standards,
building the CA/accounting workflows that make the product defensible,
and potentially becoming a co-founder if trust, execution, and alignment become real.
This is not a normal “accountant job.”
This is not a back-office role.
This is not just filing, bookkeeping, or report preparation.
This is a chance to help build a category-defining product for founders, families, and businesses who want one truthful financial picture and one intelligent operating system behind it.
You may be a fit if:
you understand accounting beyond textbook entries,
you can think from both founder and CA perspectives,
you care about systems, trust, and clean financial interpretation,
you are comfortable working with AI tools and agent-led workflows,
you want responsibility instead of a narrow job description,
and you are interested in building something meaningful enough to eventually earn ownership.
What matters most to me is not just qualification, but seriousness.
I want someone who wants to build.
Someone who wants to improve the product, not just use it.
Someone who can say, “This is not credible yet,” and then help make it credible.
Someone who can eventually run this with ownership.
If that sounds like you, write to me with:
who you are,
your background,
what you understand from this vision,
where you think such a product can fail,
where you think it can become powerful,
and why you want to build it with real skin in the game.
This role starts as a key operator role.
If the fit is strong, it can become much more than that.
