Job Description

We are a fast-growing real estate & workspace platform expanding across multiple Tier-2 cities. We are hiring a Fractional CFO / Head of Finance & Fundraising to manage budgets, forecasting, and actively lead our fundraising efforts.

This role is not a traditional accounting job. You will work closely with the founder, represent the company to investors, and help drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own company budgeting, cash flow, and burn tracking
• Build and maintain 12–24 month financial forecasts
• Act as finance controller (spend discipline, fund usage tracking)
• Prepare and manage financial models & pitch support
• Identify, approach, and engage angel investors & syndicates
• Coordinate investor meetings, follow-ups, and due diligence
• Support expansion planning (team hiring, city rollout costs)

Required Experience

• 1–5 years experience in startup finance / FP&A / fractional CFO
• Hands-on fundraising experience (angel or seed rounds)
• Comfortable speaking directly with investors
• Strong financial modelling & forecasting skills
• Experience with startups, platforms, SaaS, PropTech, or asset-light models preferred
• Able to work independently in a remote setup

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a pure accounting or compliance role
• Not bookkeeping or tax filing
• Not a full-time corporate CFO position

Compensation

• Monthly retainer: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000
• Success fee: 1–2% of funds raised
• Equity / ESOP: Available for the right candidate
• Engagement: 6–12 months (extendable)
