Hardware & Network Engineer

• Job Roles & Responsibility :
• Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and deploy computer hardware systems and network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and audits of hardware and network systems to ensure they align with industry standards and meet evolving business needs.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and network issues, minimize downtime, and perform root cause analysis for critical problems.
• Security Management: Implement and enforce network security measures, including managing firewalls, updating virus protection software, and conducting data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal efficiency and availability of all systems.
• Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and third-party vendors to integrate new technologies and provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
• Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, layouts, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a hardware and networking support or engineering role (1-3 years minimum preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware devices (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair (desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals).
• Familiarity with network security practices, including firewalls and VPN configuration.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
