Job Description

  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitoring vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and reporting any significant changes to families or medical supervisors.
  • Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications on schedule and monitoring for side effects.
  • Nutrition: Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions and assisting with feeding if necessary.
  • Mobility Assistance: Helping clients move safely, which includes transferring from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
  • Household Tasks: Light housekeeping, such as laundry, cleaning the client's room, and organizing supplies.
  • Companionship: Providing emotional support through conversation, hobbies, and social engagement.
