Position Title: Pharmacist

Location: Bangalore

Working Days: 6 Days

Shift Duration: 9 Hours

Salary Budget: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (customizable)

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and reliable Pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations, dispense medications accurately, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage prescriptions and patient interactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing & Prescription Management

• Accurately dispense medicines as per doctor prescriptions.
• Verify dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain stock levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines.
• Check expiry dates regularly and manage returns of expired/damaged stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.

Customer Service & Guidance

• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
• Address customer queries related to prescriptions and OTC products.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain up-to-date records of prescriptions and sales.
• Ensure strict adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and company SOPs.
• Handle billing and maintain correct pricing as per guidelines.

Operational Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Ensure secure storage of controlled and high-value medicines.
• Support the team in daily pharmacy operations.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma).
• Valid Pharmacist License (mandatory).

Experience

• Minimum 1-year experience as a Pharmacist.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medicines, dosages, and interactions.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage stock.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software is an added advantage.
