Job Description
- Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Operations and quality control: Oversee the cleaning of all public areas and guest rooms, conduct regular inspections to ensure quality, and handle any maintenance issues that arise.
- Inventory and supplies: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage the department's budget, implementing cost-control measures.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all staff follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols, and that the department complies with all relevant regulations.
- Guest relations: Respond to guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
- Administrative tasks: Prepare reports and maintain housekeeping records.
- Department collaboration: Work with other departments, such as the front desk and maintenance, to ensure overall facility standards are met and guest satisfaction is maintained.
