Job Description: HR Intern – Onboarding & Recruitment (Building/Construction Industry)


Position: HR Intern


Department: Human Resources


Location: Nagarbhavi


Duration: 3 Months Internship


Reporting To: HR Executive / HR Manager



Role Overview


The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in managing end-to-end recruitment activities and onboarding processes for various construction/building-related positions. This role offers hands-on learning experience in candidate sourcing, interview coordination, documentation, and employee orientation.



Key Responsibilities


Recruitment Support

• Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, and internal databases.

• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.

• Coordinate telephonic, online, and face-to-face interviews.

• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers regarding interview schedules and feedback.

• Maintain and update recruitment trackers.


Onboarding & Joining Formalities

• Assist with preparing offer letters, appointment letters, and joining documents.

• Collect, verify, and organize new hire documents.

• Coordinate induction and orientation for new employees.

• Ensure timely completion of onboarding checklists.

• Support in issuing ID cards, email creation requests, and system access (if required).


HR Operations

• Maintain personnel files and update employee records.

• Assist in HR documentation and compliance tasks.

• Support HR team in day-to-day administrative activities.

• Help in organizing training programs and employee engagement activities.



Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding of recruitment processes.

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
