Job Description

Chilume Legal and Liaisoning Private Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end HR operations. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with organizational goals.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Professional Conduct

  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all workplace interactions.
  • Communicate respectfully with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Handle all internal HR matters with discretion and confidentiality.

 

2. Confidentiality & HR Records Management

  • Ensure strict confidentiality of employee personal, financial, and official records.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee data including attendance, payroll, and leave records.
  • Implement secure storage practices for both digital and physical HR documentation.

 

3. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate with management to determine manpower requirements.
  • Prepare job descriptions, publish job openings, and conduct preliminary candidate screenings.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes including documentation and employee induction.

 

4. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Maintain attendance registers and leave records accurately.
  • Assist in payroll processing, including statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.

 

5. Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances in a fair and professional manner.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Encourage open communication and provide constructive feedback.

 

6. Discipline & Ethical Standards

  • Maintain professional standards in behavior, dress code, and communication.
  • Prohibit acceptance of gifts, financial benefits, or personal favors from employees or clients.
  • Report any misconduct or policy violations to the Director promptly.

 

7. Performance Management

  • Coordinate employee performance appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain performance records and support management in evaluation processes.

 

8. Training & Development

  • Attend HR meetings, workshops, and training sessions organized by the company.
  • Conduct awareness sessions on workplace ethics and professional conduct.

 

9. Working Hours

  • Official working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours in case of organizational requirements or emergencies.

 

10. Organizational Contribution

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and employee skill enhancement.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA in HR (Preferred)

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a similar role
