Department: Human Resources

Location: Retail / Store Operations

Reporting To: HR Manager / Regional HR

Job Summary The Retail HR Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities for retail store operations including recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance. The role ensures smooth HR operations and supports store teams in maintaining workforce efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Staffing •       Handle end-to-end recruitment for retail store positions such as sales associates, supervisors, and store managers.

•       Conduct interviews and coordinate with department heads for candidate selection.

•       Maintain manpower planning and ensure timely replacement of attrition.

2. Onboarding & Induction •       Conduct employee induction programs for new joiners.

•        Ensure completion of joining documentation and HR formalities. •       Coordinate with departments for smooth employee onboarding.

3. Attendance & Leave Management •       Monitor employee attendance through HRMS systems (e.g., Greythr).

•       Track leave applications and maintain accurate attendance records.

•       Address irregular attendance issues.

4. Payroll Support

•       Coordinate with payroll team for salary processing.

•       Maintain records of overtime, incentives, and deductions. •   Support in Full & Final settlements of exiting employees.

5. Employee Relations •       Address employee concerns and grievances.

•       Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.

•       Support employee engagement activities at store level.

6. Compliance

•       Maintain statutory compliance such as PF, ESI, and labor law requirements.

•       Ensure employee records and HR documents are properly maintained.

7. Performance & Attrition Management •       Track employee performance and support performance review processes.

•       Monitor attrition and prepare monthly HR reports.

Qualifications •       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

•       MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Experience

•       1–4 years of experience in HR, preferably in retail or hospitality industry.

Key Skills •       Recruitment and manpower planning

•       HRMS knowledge (Greythr or similar systems)

•       Communication and interpersonal skills

•       Employee relations management

•       Basic knowledge of labor laws
