Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook Indian vegetarian dishes as per menu requirements.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency at all times.
- Plan daily menus and manage food preparation accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and work area.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor raw material usage and inform management for timely purchase.
- Minimize food wastage and follow proper storage practices.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Required Skills & Qualities:Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking methods.
- Ability to cook in bulk (hotel / mess / canteen experience preferred).
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours if required.
