Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage end-to-end stock operations using inventory management software. The role requires high accuracy in stock tracking, strong coordination with warehouse and sales teams, and ensuring optimal inventory levels across locations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete inventory lifecycle including inward, outward, transfers, and closing stock

Maintain accurate stock records using inventory/ERP software

Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification; resolve discrepancies promptly

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking

Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and finance teams

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports

Track batch numbers, expiry dates, and damaged/slow-moving stock

Ensure compliance with company SOPs and audit requirements

Improve inventory accuracy and process efficiency continuously

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field

Proven experience in inventory management within the FMCG industry

Hands-on experience with inventory/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)

Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling multi-location or high-volume inventory

Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO methods

Exposure to audits and compliance processes

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Inventory accuracy

Stock variance reduction

Timely reporting

Reduction in stock losses and expiries
