Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer/Asst Manager

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities;

• Collaborate with Operations, Quality control, Maintenance and other departments to understand current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to QMS, draft and release WI's, Procedures, LOTO, review Preventive Maintenance plan, Machinery critical spares safety stock, lead investigations and drive CAPA etc.. Lead kaizen events focused on eliminating waste, improving quality and increase efficiency.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes including automation solutions, robotics and advanced material handling systems.
• Experience in working with automated equipment and robotics in a manufacturing environment.
• Design and optimize manufacturing/plant layouts to increase efficiency, reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Work with suppliers to evaluate new equipment and technologies , conduct feasibility studies an select appropriate equipment for specific manufacturing needs. 
• Implement and validate new equipment , ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and minimizing disruption to production schedules.
• Monitor performance metrics such as cycle time, takt time, throughput time and waste levels to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes & make necessary adjustments.
• Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance personal during implementation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct RCA of manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement/kaizen initiatives.
• Has knowledge in OEE, Productivity, Quality, Measuring instruments etc.. 
• Has knowledge in Lean manufacturing methodologies - Kaizen, 8D, 6 sigma, Line balancing and Capacity planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience degree with 6+years in Manufacturing Process Engineering/Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent Problem solving and analytical skills with a focus on data driven decision making.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient to communicate in Kannada, English and Hindi 
• Advanced computer skills, proficient in MS office suite(Word, Excel and Power point).
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts, cost estimation and ROI analysis.
