Legal Officer

Role Purpose The Legal Officer is responsible for managing all legal, statutory, regulatory, and compliance matters across the Group’s Real Estate and Agriculture businesses, ensuring protection of land assets, regulatory compliance, contract governance, litigation management, and legal risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities Real Estate Legal Management • Land acquisition, due diligence, title verification, and encumbrance checks • Drafting and vetting sale deeds, lease deeds, JDAs, POA, and development agreements • RERA, municipal, zoning, and building law compliance Agriculture Legal Compliance • Compliance with agricultural land and land-use laws • Contract farming and agri-supply agreements • Handling subsidies, licenses, and agri-department approvals Contracts & Documentation • Vendor, contractor, EPC, service, NDA, SLA agreements • Centralized contract and documentation management Litigation & Dispute Management • Land disputes, RERA cases, civil/criminal matters, labor disputes • Coordination with advocates and law firms Regulatory & Labor Compliance • Construction site and farm labor law compliance • Support HR in disciplinary and inquiry processes Risk Management • Legal risk identification and mitigation • Periodic legal and compliance audits Qualifications & Experience • LLB / LLM from a recognized university • 5–12 years experience in Real Estate & Agriculture legal roles Skills • Land laws, RERA, contract drafting, litigation coordination
