Manufacturing Operator – Fragrance Production

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the batch preparation and formulation of fragrance products (wax melts, candles, perfumes, diffusers, etc.)
2. Measure, mix, melt, pour, and handle raw materials as per formulation guidelines.
3. Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools safely.
4. Conduct basic quality checks on batches—fragrance strength, consistency, appearance, etc.
5. Follow SOPs for weighing, heating, blending, moulding, and packaging processes.
6. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
7. Support inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
8. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
9. Assist in packaging, labelling, and dispatch preparation as needed.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Technology, Perfume/Fragrance Technology, or related field.
2. 1–3 years of experience in formulation-led manufacturing (candles, skincare, perfumes, aromatherapy, personal care, etc.).
3. Understanding of basic formulation processes, handling raw materials, and batch production.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
5. Ability to follow instructions and document production work accurately.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in ingredient blending using manufacturing equipment.
2. Familiarity with measuring equipment, melting equipment, mixers, and moulds.
3. Knowledge of safety standards and handling chemicals.
