Marketing Executive

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Business Development: Prospect and acquire new corporate/B2B clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
2. Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high retention and increased volume.
3. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and volume targets.
4. Client Consultation: Understand client shipping needs (e.g., speed, price, destination) and propose tailored logistics solutions.
5. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and terms of service with clients.
6. Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM software and prepare regular sales activity reports.
7. After-Sales Service: Liaise with operations to address client queries, shipment tracking, or payment issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience: Proven experience in courier, logistics, freight forwarding, or express distribution services.
2. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and negotiations.
3. Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, closing, and problem-solving skills.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
5. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, import/export regulations, and courier operations.
6. Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
7. Transportation: Valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements

1. Field Sales: Significant travel to meet clients on-site.
2. Schedule: Full-time, sometimes requiring flexible hours to meet client demands.
