As we expand our media and advertising verticals, we are looking for a dynamic Media Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our ad revenue strategy and build a high-performance sales engine.
Role Overview
The Media Sales & Marketing Manager will drive advertisement sales across Artocult’s covering Bangalore Region, manage and mentor the sales team, and build strong relationships with brands, agencies, and partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in media sales, ad inventory monetization, and sales training.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advertisement Sales & Revenue Growth covering both Offline & Online
• Drive end-to-end ad sales across Artocult’s platforms
• Identify, pitch, and close deals with brands, agencies, and media buyers.
• Develop customized advertising solutions including display ads, branded content, sponsorships, and creator-led campaigns.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
2. Ad Sales Training & Capability Building
• Train and upskill the sales team on media products, pitch strategies, negotiation, and closing techniques.
• Develop structured training modules for new hires and ongoing team development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, mock pitches, and skill assessments.
• Introduce best practices from digital media, OTT, and creator economy sectors.
3. Sales Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and business development professionals.
• Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
• Create a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to align sales strategies with platform growth.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging ad formats.
• Identify new revenue opportunities including programmatic, affiliate partnerships, and creator-led campaigns.
• Provide strategic inputs to leadership on pricing, packaging, and product innovation.
5. Client Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with key clients and agencies.
• Ensure high client satisfaction through effective campaign delivery and post-campaign analysis.
• Manage renewals, upsells, and cross-selling opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5–10 years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or ad-tech.
• Strong network of brand and agency contacts in Bangalore and South India.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading and training sales teams.
• Understanding of digital media metrics, ad formats, and campaign performance analytics.
