MEP Engineer

Job Summary:

The Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer is responsible for execution and supervision of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems in high-rise residential apartment projects. The role ensures all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting system installation
• Execute work as per approved drawings and technical specifications
• Handle piping, ducting, pumps, STP/WTP, and fire protection systems
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and MEP teams
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Conduct testing and commissioning of all systems
• Verify quantities and contractor bills
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues
• Maintain daily reports and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–12 years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (ducting, chillers, VRV/VRF)
• Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, STP/WTP)
• Fire Fighting systems (hydrant, sprinkler, pumps)
• Drawing reading and site execution
• Contractor and labour management
• Basic AutoCAD and MS Excel knowledge

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in high-rise residential apartment projects
• Exposure to complete MEP project lifecycle
