MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

·        Supervise and coordinate MEP site activities in line with approved drawings and project timelines.

·        Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications for execution feasibility.

·        Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.

·        Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC norms, and safety standards.

·        Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical systems, fire-fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.

·        Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.

·        Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports.

·        Identify and resolve site issues, clashes, and technical challenges.

·        Support billing, measurements, and material planning related to MEP works.

Qualifications & Skills:

·        Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (MEP background preferred).

·        3–7 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.

·        Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

·        Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and layouts.

·        Good coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (MEP background preferred).

Prior experience:-

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in MEP execution for building projects.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Familiarity with Bangalore local authority requirements is an advantage.
