Microbioligist

THE ROLE: (Small summary of what you are looking for)

The junior microbiologist should have experience in basic Microbiological techniques and he /she will be responsible for carrying out microbiological analysis of (bio burden estimation and pathogens ) finish products and raw materials .

He/ She will be responsible for media preparation, sterilization, sample storage, sample disposal and maintaining the records of each activities as per good documentation practices.

He/ She will be responsible for abiding to company policies and provide support in inventory management and other technical support to the team.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: (Responsibilities and tasks associated with the job) *limit to 8-10 bullets

·      Abide with Company’s policies procedures comply with safety requirements of the organization

·      Perform microbiological analysis (Pathogens and Bioburden estimation) of finished products and Raw materials. 

·      Media preparation, sterilization sample analysis, sample storage, decontamination, disposal and maintain records

·      Carry out environment monitoring of the laboratory and ensure good housekeeping

·      Conduct functional checks, intermediate checks, preventive maintenance checks of equipment’s like incubator, water bath, biosafety cabinets, balances, pipettes etc

·      Provide support in inventory management and any other testing / documentation support to the team

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: (Give insight to the team dynamic and environment)

This role in the QC function for analytical testing in microbiology area, which is a part of food safety parameter and to comply with FSSAI regulatory requirement for all Regulatory and Surveillance Testings

Microbiological techniques preferably worked in an analytical laboratory 

• Good verbal and written communication skills (technical writing and presentation)

Education

·      Bachelor or Master of Science ( BSc /MSC/) in Microbiology or closely related life science fields
