Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate VMC milling machines to manufacture components as per drawings
- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the VMC machine
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Perform basic machine programming edits (offsets, tool changes)
- Monitor machining processes and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges)
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleanliness
- Identify and report machine breakdowns or quality issues
- Maintain production records and job cards
