Nurse Practitioners

Patient/Client Interaction & Customer Service:

- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.

- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.

- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history.

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.

- Provide general clinic information and direct patients as needed.

Administrative Duties:

- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.

- Process patient paperwork and ensure accuracy in electronic health records (EHR).

- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- Manage incoming and outgoing faxes, emails, and mail.

Clinic Coordination:

- Notify medical staff of patient arrivals.

- Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other staff to ensure smooth workflow.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

- Assist with inventory management of office and front desk supplies.

Billing & Insurance Support:

- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

- Assist with billing inquiries and direct patients to the appropriate department.

- Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims.
