Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • PF & ESI Contributions Management: Ensure timely and accurate contribution of employees' and employer's portions to the Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Professional Tax and Labour welfare fund for multiple states in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on changes to appliable laws, including amendments to the EPF, ESI Act, tax laws, and other related statutory guidelines.
  • Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date PF & ESI records for all employees. Ensure compliance with PF & ESI rules regarding employee eligibility, contributions, PF withdrawal requests and ESI claim assistance.
  • Employee Communication & Support: Address PF-related inquiries from Clients & employees and assist in the process of PF account transfers, withdrawals, and settlements.
  • Audit & Inspection Preparation: Prepare for and support internal or external audits related to PF compliance. Ensure that records and contributions are in accordance with the regulations.
  • Coordination with EPFO: Act as a liaison between the company and the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), ensuring prompt resolution of issues, and maintaining the company’s standing with EPFO.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance, Professional Tax and related statutory regulations (such as the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS)).
  • Familiarity with PF accounting and reconciliation processes.

 

  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced skills, pivot tables, v-lookups).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in compliance-related tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of resolving employee queries and providing guidance.
