Job Summary

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. The role involves close coordination with doctors and the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and empathetic patient care.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPatient CareProvide direct nursing care to patients as per care plans and clinical protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist in medical procedures.
• Observe and record patient conditions and report changes to the medical team.
• Assist patients with daily activities and ensure comfort and safety.
• Clinical & Ward ManagementMaintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards are followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during examinations and treatments.
• Manage medical equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance.
• Coordination & CommunicationWork collaboratively with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-care instructions.
• Participate in ward rounds, handovers, and case discussions.
• Compliance & QualityAdhere to hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and ethical nursing practices.
• Follow medication safety, hygiene, and emergency protocols.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and audits.
