Production Manager

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per project timelines.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Maintain production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Achieve planned output targets consistently.

2. Quality Assurance

• Ensure production processes meet required quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Reduce rework and rejection rates through process improvement.

3. Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor and control production costs against approved budgets.
• Optimize material usage and reduce wastage.
• Implement lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives.

4. Equipment & Maintenance

• Ensure all machines and equipment are in good working condition.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of operations.

5. Team Management & Development

• Lead, train, and motivate production staff for high performance.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and teamwork within the production unit.
• Evaluate team performance periodically and recommend improvements.

6. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Compliance

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox meetings.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment.

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with the Planning, Procurement, and Quality departments for seamless production flow.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly production reports to management.
• Highlight deviations, bottlenecks, and corrective measures taken.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Identify areas for process automation or enhancement.
• Implement best practices in production and resource management.
• Encourage innovation and cost-saving ideas from team members.
