Job Description
- 🏢 Facility Manager – Roles & Responsibilities1. Operations & MaintenanceOversee the day-to-day operation of all building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, etc.).
- Schedule and manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure quality of service from external providers.
- Vendor & Contractor Management Source, evaluate, and manage vendors for cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, waste disposal, etc.
- Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Oversee project work such as renovations, refurbishments, and construction. Security & Access ControlCoordinate physical security systems (CCTV, access cards, guards, etc.).
- Ensure protection of personnel, assets, and information.
- Oversee security contracts and incident response procedures.
- Communication & CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact between management, employees, and external service providers.
- Support other departments (HR, IT, Operations) in workspace and infrastructure needs.
- Prepare and present facility reports and recommendations to senior management.
