Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Control Engineer to ensure that all products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspection, documentation, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of drawings, and a disciplined quality mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Inspection Reports, FAI, PPAP, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process capability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO / customer quality standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to maintain quality consistency.
• Handle customer complaints and support audit requirements.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and gauges.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools (7 QC tools, CAPA, 5 Why, etc.).
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automotive or precision component industry.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.
• Knowledge of CMM operation (preferred).
