Restaurant Cashier

A Restaurant/Hotel Cashier is responsible for handling billing and generating accurate invoices for guests.

Process payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.)

Issue receipts and return correct change

Verify pricing, discounts, and taxes on bills

Assist guests with billing queries and resolve issues politely

Maintain daily cash records and balance the cash register

Prepare end-of-day sales and cash reports

Coordinate with service staff for smooth billing operations

Follow basic accounting procedures and company policies

Ensure honesty, accuracy, and good customer service at all times.

Know hospitality software (POS systems) for billing and reporting.
